A little too close to home.

Ipswich had a stabbing incident this morning, though thank God not a fatal one.  It took place on the eighth floor of Cadinal Lofts, one of the new developments down on the old Ipswich docks waterfront.  The worrying thing is that my eldest daughter and her fiance live on the sixth floor of the same building.  Worrying times!

Sorry to hear about that Nigel, not very nice at all. Things get a bit rough around here sometimes. Where I used to live there was a garage and the Asian man who worked there got taken away (after a failed robbery as garages have autolock safes that even he cannot access) and the poor man was murdered. Wont go inot details but it was less than 100 yards from where I lived. He was a lovely fella of about 60 and a true gentleman.

Further up the road, same road, there was a bunch of youths smashing a fence down with bricks (500 yds or so) and an old gent told them off and they turned on him and killed him.

Across the road from me there was a pub (then a bowling green, then the garage) and a taxi drive who used to use that pub got battered with a baseball bat and died.

Its a wicked world Vee8. At least be assured that the police will be all over that area like arash now, so they should be safe. Most of these attacks usually happen between people who have direct confrontations, so hopefully she will keep herself to herself and keep safe. I will say a little prayer for her safety.

Try not to worry, although its perfectly understandable.

Hope your arm is a little better today Vee8 x
